Meet colleagues and stakeholders in a new setting
The World Ports Conference comes to Antwerp in a totally new format and concept. This results from the partnership that IAPH concluded with IHS Markit, a world leader in critical information, analytics and solutions. The conference will explore the theme ‘Building transparency, predictability and trust’ across four streams, each based on urgent priorities collectively facing ports and their stakeholders in 2020: 1) energy transition, 2) data collaboration, 3) risk and reputation, and 4) business innovation. The 2020 World Ports Conference aims to bring together a broader maritime and logistics audience than ever before in the event’s history, including not only leading ports but also their customers, shipping regulators, NGOs, start-ups and other supply chain stakeholders. The goal is to ensure that attendees from all backgrounds understand how best to create genuine trust, boost transparency and increase reliability both internally and externally. The three-day conference will feature a mix of panel discussions, one-to-one conversations, hands-on workshops and specialised working events to showcase unique, practical insights from business leaders who have engaged in successful and sustainable cross-industry collaboration.
Emanuele Grimaldi (Managing Director at Grimaldi Group), Clemence Cheng (Executive Director at Hutchison Ports), Katey Ware (UK Permanent Representative at the IMO) and Guy Platten (Secretary General of the International Chamber of Shipping) feature among the first range of 30+ top-level speakers and expert panellists that have already confirmed their participation. Many more are to follow in the next few weeks |
