QINGDAO: Recently, Qingdao Port officially launched three “One Belt And One Road” and RCEP routes, which is an important measure to seize the new opportunity, continuously improve and expand the advantages of global route layout, and build Qingdao Port into an internationally leading logistics hub port, after the signing of RCEP.
With the continuous opening of RCEP and new routes, Qingdao Port will construct an international transit corridor of “radiating Japan, Korea, linking Southeast Asia, penetrating India, Brazil, the Middle East and connecting the ocean trunk lines of Europe and the United States”, and will realize the “sea golden channel” that connects Qingdao Port to Southeast Asia, Central Asia and other countries along the “one belt and one road” and RCEP members. It will Help Qingdao Port build Northeast Asia International Shipping Hub Center and provide comprehensive service to the new pattern of “large cycle and double cycle”.
The three new shipping services are a Southeast Asia service providing by Evergreen Marine, which will establish a fast and low-cost shipping logistics channel between the ports in Shandong and Malaysia
A Vietnam service from Wan Hai Lines / Interasia, which is the direct reefer service between Qingdao port and Southeast Asia.
And, a India service from Wan Hai Lines / Interasia / Zim / Korea Marine Transport, adding to direct shipping service for Qingdao and the South Asia region.
